This luxury studio cabin is the newest addition to Dam Near Lake of Egypt Cabins (a cheeky name for a surprisingly delightful experience). Our newest cabin has 1 queen, 1 twin Murphy bed and 1 bathroom. A thoughtful and well-designed 600 square feet of living space makes it an ideal accommodation choice for a couple looking for the ultimate southern Illinois experience.

> 15-minute drive to wineries, Shawnee National Forrest, Ferne Clyffe State Park, and Tunnel Hill Bike Trail. It is no doubt the perfect place for your getaway!
"Know Before You Go"
Check in is after 4PM. Check out is before 11AM.
‣ Rental agreement and $300 security deposit required after booking.
‣ Visitors: not staying overnight are welcomed, loud, disruptive parties are not.
‣ Check out instructions: We ask that you wash your dishes and pick up any trash left outdoors including cigarette butts
‣ BYO Beach Towels: There is a pond/beach area on site. We only provide bath towels.
‣ Located 1 mile from Lake of Egypt Dam, Pyramid Acres Marina, and Mack's Marina
‣ Total of 3 cabins and 1.5 acre pond sits on 5 acres behind our home estate, separated by a privacy fence.
‣ Our Great Dane, Rocco, and lab mix, Ariel, greet guests on occasion.
‣ Inventory: We provide a "starter package" of inventory for our cabin: 3 rolls of T.P. and 1 full roll of paper towels.
‣ House Manual: Our house manual is 100% online.
‣ Live music plays on weekends at the local bait store and Pyramid Acres Marina during lake season- it carries across the field to the cabins.
‣ $30.00 pet fee is applicable, per pet, per stay. Max 3.
This property is managed by Southern Illinois Vacation Rentals, a veteran-owned, woman-owned business. Allison, owner of SIVR, is an SIUC alumni and has a deep love for the hospitality industry and showcasing beautiful southern Illinois.
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to stay in a micro cabin or tiny house? Our cabins are considered "large" tiny homes at 600 square feet- making them fun, but very roomy and comfortable. We love the modern appeal and designed them with our young- and young at heart- travelers in mind. They feature warm wood elements with soft white shiplap and plenty of natural light.
We purchased this property after 9 years of lake living on Lake of Egypt. As much as we enjoyed our lakefront home, we were ready to trade in our waterfront for acreage to raise our growing family.
Location, Location, Location! Our cabin is not just centrally located in the heart of all things "southern Illinois" but more importantly to you, as the traveler, we are only 4 miles from I-57 and I-24- making our destination assessable and stress-free!
The cabin is located on our homestead property- on what we consider "the back 5" acres.
We are very excited to now have a "natural swimming pool" aka a swimming pond with a beach on location! We will be offering paddleboards this year at no additional cost to our guests.

• Downtown Marion- features amazing coffee, ice cream, arts, and culture
• Unlimited hiking for all skill levels
• Lake of Egypt- over 90 miles of shoreline and 2400 acres of deepwater- great for fishing, skiing, and lounging.
