"Clean room, as per the norm for all Japanese hotels. Very modern and spacious room. Great location as you can walk to Atami Station in less than 5 minutes. Because of it's local near Atami Station, you are close to everything - shops, restaurants, transportation, etc. Our room is in the back that faces the train tracks. Surprisingly you can't hear the trains even though they rain close. If you are a rail fan like me ask for the back. It was a pleasant surprise!"

"We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable with a beautiful view of Lake Ashi. The location is lovely albeit a bit more secluded/farther away, right by the lake, with Mount Fuji visible on clear days. The hotel feels a bit dated (think 70s charm) but is well maintained and slightly upscale. There’s a free shuttle to Odawara Station, but taxis must be booked in advance through the hotel. "今回の滞在では嬉しいことにお部屋をアップグレードしていただき、オーシャンビューの広々とした客室に宿泊できました。窓一面に広がる海の景色はまさに絶景で、時間を忘れて眺めていられるほど。今までガーデンビューだったので、カテゴリー違いを感じることができた。次回からはオーシャンビューに泊まろうと思う。 特に印象的だったのはスタッフの対応。以前よりも全体的にサービスレベルが大幅に向上しており、フロントからレストラン、そして清掃スタッフに至るまで、皆さんの丁寧で温かみのある接客に心が和みました。清掃スタッフの方の細やかな気配りも素晴らしかったです。 ホテル自体は歴史を感じさせる古さも残っていますが、それが逆に“味”となり、川奈ホテルならではのクラシカルな魅力を引き立てています。新しさや豪華さだけでは味わえない、特別な時間と贅沢な時間を過ごせるホテルだと改めて感じました。 総じて、景色・サービス・雰囲気のすべてが揃った滞在で、またぜひ再訪したいと思います。"
