Very clean and comfortable, plenty of room. Beautiful view of the beach and close to dining and shopping. I like that there is usually someone at the front desk and they are always friendly and helpful. We will be back soon!

Fantastic and relaxing week

The condo was clean and exactly as described and pictured. It was perfect for our family and an extra friend. Communication was excellent. Pool area was clean. Beach area was great and the beach service (umbrella and 2 chairs) was easy and perfect. Would 100% stay here again.

Many Blessings to enjoy!

This was a wonderful oasis to relax in after working and also to enjoy walking on the beach in the evenings. Everything was spotless and we enjoyed the spectacular view!! The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to eat in and relax! The decor is well done and the rooms are very spacious. Our hiccup with the WIFI was quickly resolved and the owners were great to respond to any of our questions or concerns. WE will definitely put this on the top of our list next time we are in the area! THANK YOU!

Family Spring Break

The condo was exactly as pictured. Nicely updated. View was gorgeous! Pool area was nice but heated pool was not very warm at all. Due to being there during spring break the pool area got pretty busy especially since there was a large group that was there together but we always had chairs. Loved the included beach service.

Vacation 2022

The condo was great. The location was great, the cleanliness was great. There was one thing that was uncomfortable and it was the bedding, the pillows was cheap and flat. They gave me a crick in my neck. But overall we enjoyed ourselves. Definitely will recommend.

Good Stay

The condo worked well for my family. The balcony and close location of the beach to the condo was great. Beds were comfortable. Some extra blankets and sheets would be helpful. I do suggest a couple of improvements. The cabinent door next to the dishwasher needs to be repaired. Also the kitchen cooking utensils needs updating and the silverware needs to be replaced. I would add an additional shelf in the pantry as one appears to be missing.

NASTY

I was charged a cleaning few and this place was filthy. Sticky floors, recliners were suppose to be brown were really dirty and black on the arms. Furniture was very uncomfortable and wore completely out. There was sunflower seeds in one of the bedroom floors and cheese curls in the master bedrooms carpet. the ceiling fans were a inch deep in dust. I would never stay here AGAIN. The pillows on the bed were terrible filthy. Disgusting! I CLEANED AND CLEANED AND MOPPED 2 TIMES. PLEASE SHOP ARIOUND BEFORE STAYING HERE!

Our stay was... okay.

This property was an “okay experience”. We first checked in and it was great big rooms plenty of space for a bout 6/8 ppl. Bed rooms were spacious. Has working appliances and a great view. As for cleanliness. At first glance it was straighten up from previous families stay. Definitely would not call it cleaned. When you walked it there was a strong odor of smoke. We then spotted 2 dirty towels on left on the living room chair. The kitchen was not cleaned at all. The stove was caked with what look like spaghetti sauce and grease. The counters felt like someone sprayed baking grease on them. The bathrooms had stuff all over the mirrors and in the sinks. In the front bedroom to the left with the beds the comforter has stains all on the inside of it. We aren’t the people to pick something apart but with spending that much on a room we expected it to be clean and ready for us. We went to Walmart got some cleaning stuff and made the most of it. What really aggravated us the most is the fact the doorcode kept locking us out. The sweet lady up front called the maintenance guy to get him to change batteries. It worked for a few hours we went to dinner and was coming back for family pictures before the rain and it locked us out again. The front desk then told us to wait around they would call a lock smith. Which would take a few hours because they would have to fight the parade traffic? About 45 mins of waiting someone from the front desk came up with a master code to unlock the door. We were checking out the next morning but due to delay we were not able to get family pictures as we wanted. The property was a good location. In the middle of everything an has plenty around to eat. Beach was great. Pool 1 was heated the other was not( which I’m not sure if it was intended so) If the unit we had was cleaned as it should have been we wouldn’t have had much negative feed back. We get the door was not anyone’s fault. It’s just an “irritating “ situation having to wait around with kids to entertain and use the potty and at the time it started raining. Over all. Our unit was okay. Just needs a more thorough cleaning and new bedding in the first room.

Okaloosa First Timers

Enjoyed our stay and location in the sun! Although there was wet carpeting all week long in the king bedroom which prevented us from using the closet, the condo fit our families needs perfectly. We notified management of the clothes iron not working either, but was never given a replacement.

All and all, a good stay

The Summer Place itself was nice, clean, check in was easy. It out unit (503) itself, the kitchen was lacking in certain staples such as sharp knives for cutting, cooking, no scissors, all glassware for eating and drinking which isn’t kid friendly. Also the kitchen table and coffee table were solid glass so caused some issues with my kids. The WiFi didn’t work during our stay. Also, if you rent from Legacy Vacations, be prepared to buy or bring your own laundry detergent, trash bags and dishwashing liquid because they only provide a small amount to start. But the property itself was very nice. We would stay at Summer Place again.

Summer Place has gone downhill

This was our 2nd time staying at Summer Place. Last year we stayed in a different condo that was perfect. The one this year has horrible cheap worn out furniture. The beds were terrible. The beach set up was awfull. On Sunday I paid $40 to the chair guy and asked for the same spot all week. Not once the entire week did we get our name on our chairs and had to hunt chairs every day. The pools were out of control. There were so many floats, toys and footballs that just getting in and out was difficult. We won’t stay here again.

summer getaway

The condo was very roomy and clean. Wonderful views and pools. A great getaway spot from all the Destin traffic and people. Management was always helpful from the time we booked until leaving. Highly recommend this condo.
