Nightmare at Celtic Cove
I really enjoyed the atmosphere at Celtic Cove but can't say that I am 100% pleased with the readiness of the property. I did not feel that the property was clean to a suitable standard based on the cost of a one week stay. The floors were dusty and lots of spiderwebs. The remote controls did not work even after calling the property management and them sending someone out to remedy the problem. I believe that the batteries were dead in almost all of the remotes. I was not pleased by the fact the blankets and shams are not cleaned after each check out. That is totally unacceptable! The vacuum cleaner in the house did not work. The bicycles that were in the garage had tires that did not have air in them and were dry rotted. For as much money that was charged for this property, one would think that the management company would do an inspection to ensure everything that comes with the rental is in good working order and the renters don't have to call to complain. The washer and dryer on the first level need to be replaced. Took 3hrs to dry clothes and the washer barely cleaned the items I placed in it. Bluewater, please do a better job of inspecting before you rent! Word of mouth goes a long way. I am so disappointed!
