Enjoy a home away from home with plenty of sun and sand at your fingertips. Located on the west coast of Florida, Pelican Pointe offers many amenities to completely satisfy your stay. The main level of the home features a fully equipped, all new kitchen to cook a delicious feast for the family, and a glass sliding door connects the spacious living/dining area to ocean views and beach side living. The large balcony area with comfortable new outdoor furniture allows you to privately soak in the sun and even enjoy meals close to the water’s edge.

On the upper level, each bedroom features stylish décor, king-sized beds, en-suite bathrooms, walk-in wardrobes, flat-screen smart TVs and cable. The master bedroom also has an additional private balcony that allows morning oceans views when you rise! For further servicing needs, upstairs has a laundry area with a washer and dryer. On the lower level, there is assigned covered parking for two cars and a storage closet for beach supplies. Check in was a breeze. The kitchen was stocked with all the necessary cookware to make dinners. There’s a nice large storage space to keep all your beach items in. The location is perfect. We will be staying there again.

The ocean view from this condo was a thin sliver of space between two other condos located between it and the beach. More like a peephole view of the ocean. Additionally, the sliding glass door could not be locked. To safely secure the door, you had to use the 2 x 2 piece of lumber to wedge in the door. Lastly, and most concerning, are the very steep steps (2 flights) to get to the front door. Feels more like you’re climbing a ladder than steps. After almost falling, we decided to leave early due to safety concerns.

We really enjoyed our stay. Everything was excellent. The beds, the well stocked kitchen, and the laundry facilities were top notch. The decks on both levels got a lot of use. The sunsets were great to watch from there or they were actually nice quiet places to sit when needed. The location is great for the beach as it's far from the public beach access points so not so crowded. We got to know some of the regulars staying around us who were great folks. There's always lots to do, places to go, and more but for us the beach, rest, snorkeling, and shelling was best. Honeymoon Island has absolutely amazing shelling if that's something of interest while the beach out front has amazing sand dollars to be found while snorkeling!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of this unit was very private and very nice. As far as the unit itself it needs a ton of work the AC is broken and broke twice while we were there on our last night we slept with 80°. There are several liability issues within the unit such as rusted nails sticking out of a piece of wood upon leaving the bedroom into the balcony, also broken tile on the kitchen floor in the kitchen. The storage unit under the carport was very messy and filled with broken things, in comparison to other units there. While we were there we made some friends and they showed us their storage unit which was very organized and even had two bicycles and was very well equipped. It made me feel like the owners do not take pride in their investment but I would rather just collect the rental fees instead of putting money back into the unit. The kitchen was extremely dated and yes it was well equipped but very dated. The only nice place in the unit was the balcony . I would definitely go back to this location but not to this unit. One night was a waste with a broken AC and I should really be refunded for one night.Not worth the $2300 plus for the week.

The first night at the condo I fell asleep on the couch the fan fell off the ceiling and smacked the table right in front of my face with my 2 year old sleeping next to me after about a hr wait a guy came to look at it said someone would be back the next day to fix it and pushed it against the wall and left the next afternoon they came and fixed it the steps are very steep in the condo also the steps to get in the condo are steep parking was crazy

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay lasted one month, February 4-March 3. My husband and I enjoyed it very much. Potential renters should know that the unit is two flights upstairs, and the bedrooms are up another flight of stairs. We are senior citizens and it was challenging for us to get our luggage up the stairs, but once settled in it was fine. We appreciated the storage unit in the carport with beach chairs that we could borrow. The beach is an easy walk from the unit, one doesn't have to cross the street. We walked on the beach regularly and watched the sunset just about every evening. There are plenty of restaurants close by. Caddy's was our go-to restaurant, easy walking distance, good food and bar. We also liked Salt Rock Grill and AquaPrime. We would have benefited from better instructions for how to get into the unit when we arrived, better instructions about garbage (there is no recycling pick-up apparently, recycling has to be taken down the street to the city facility at 193rd Avenue), the WiFi instructions were incorrect. We managed to figure it all out on our own with help from the excellent Resort Rentals staff, but one usually expects to have detailed written instructions at the unit. This was a new rental for Resort Rentals and our reservation was carried over from its previous owner, so perhaps Resort Rentals didn't have time to generate the necessary instructions. The furnishings are comfortable, basic beach chic. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen is well-outfitted, though the cookware is not great quality. We ate out most of the time. The 2 balconies are indeed wonderful. Roku TV service is provided, which was great. The regular cable channel line-up is quite limited (e.g. we wanted to watch NBCSN but it wasn't available). The WiFi is very good.
