New furnishings bring both style and comfort to this 4th floor, 2 bedroom, 2 bath, 2 level villa located just across the street from the ocean in the Forest Beach Villas complex on Hilton Head Island, SC.

Forest Beach Villa 429 is perfect for a safe and secluded beach getaway. The tile foyer opens to a bright and sunny living room with warm wood flooring, an overstuffed sofa and loveseat, a wall-mounted smart TV and a sliding glass door that opens to a private balcony with a lagoon view. The dining area is complete with seating for 6. Off of the living and dining room area is a galley kitchen that is fully equipped with all full-size appliances. A short hallway gives access to an alcove with a full-size washer and dryer, a full bath, and a bedroom with 2 twin beds and a TV that is complete with Roku for streaming.

On the 2nd level is a very private primary bedroom with a king-size bed, a twin size bed with additional twin trundle, a wall-mounted TV, a spacious walk-in closet, and a full bath.

Please note, the thermostat CANNOT be set below 72 degrees.

Forest Beach stretches along the Atlantic Ocean between the Shipyard and Sea Pines communities on Hilton Head Island and features some of our best Forest Beach rental homes. Bike paths and neighborhood lanes on North and South Forest Beach eventually converge to Coligny Plaza... the hub of the Forest Beach area. The plaza offers over 85 shops, restaurants and fun entertainment for the entire family and Forest Beach Villa 429 offers easy access to Hilton Head’s world famous beaches, attractions and activities.

Forest Beach Villas is conveniently located in the popular Coligny area of South Forest Beach, just across the street from the public Coligny beach access, and offers complimentary access to two on-site private tennis courts, an on-site pool, and is just a short walk (5 min.) to the shops and restaurants of Coligny Plaza. All beach distances are measured from the center of the complex.

Overall, this property was great due to its location to the beach and shops. We did not rent a car for our trip but we did rent bikes which was nice. The unit is a little outdated but entirely functional. There were four adults in our group and I felt like we had enough room and didn’t feel crowded. The three issues for us during our stay were 1.) the AC and the inability to turn the thermostat below 72°F and it was over 100° F all week and the unit is on the top floor of the building, so it was very hot inside 2.) the ice maker in the refrigerator was VERY slow, as in makes 8 ice cubes a day slow, which meant we had to go buy ice every day for the cooler and 3.) the property itself is not very well marked. Our flight was delayed which resulted in us getting to the property after 2 am. We circled the building on foot multiple times in the dark trying to find the right area and location of the condo. It would be helpful to give directions in terms of how to navigate the building since the building isn’t marked well.

This property was well kept up and very clean. Well supplied with kitchenware, towels and even some beach gear. Location was perfect for biking, walking or driving to the beach, stores and restaurants. One of the best places we have stayed.

Rental of the property was flawless. Great communication. Drove straight to it and door code no issues. Very clean. Everything worked as expected. Washer makes a few funny noises. Pool closed 10-1 so we missed out. Easy beach walk across street.

Hilton Head was great, and the space was comfortable and pretty much as described. However, the unit was cleaned to the bare minimum. I understand sand at the beach, but I swept up nail clippings, etc. as soon as I arrived. There were huge cobwebs in the chandelier and a thick layer dust on all of the edges and base boards. If the cleaning staff could do better, you’d have a really nice place.
